The logistics division is based at our Northern Operating Centre in Washington, Tyne & Wear. Fergusons have a qualified team of professionals to look after the national logistics operation and Nissan's inter-site deliveries.

The Nissan contract, has allowed the Fergusons team to gain extensive knowledge in automotive logistics. With this understanding the logistics team can incorporate similar systems for other customers, in other industries. Fundamentally, develop pre-planned logistics, preventing peaks and troughs in company's goods inward area. Also, due to our company size and number of vehicles, we can co-ordinate requirements with other customers making best use of our vehicles and reducing the end cost to the customer.

Over the last 15 years, Fergusons customer portfolio has expanded due to our growing reputation combined with more customers needing just in time deliveries.
